2 月 4 日土曜日の午後 4 時から Palazzo dei Musei、via Spallanzani 1で博物館内に展示されてる作品についてより詳しく知る講演会が開かれます。今回は南蛮船屏風にフォーカスします。
レッジョ・エミリアの貴重な「南蛮船」屏風は、現実と寓話の間に存在する実り豊かな船を表しています。この南蛮船屏風は清水寺に奉納されている絵馬がオリジナルとなっています。
1604年から1634年の間に実際に起こった日本の歴史と密接な関係にある芸術作品を、描かれている内容から魅力的で興味深い日本の歴史を紐解きます。今回は南蛮船で日本の商人が大型船を使い、東南アジアやその先の海を支配した江戸時代初期の話しです。

On Saturday, February 4th, at 4pm, Palazzo dei Musei (via Spallanzani 1, Reggio Emilia) will host a lecture to learn more about the works in the museum. This time, the focus will be on “Nanban folding screen” of the Museum.
Reggio Emilia's precious Nanban screen represents a prosperous ship between reality and fable. This folding screen is based on an ema sacred painting dedicated to Kiyomizu-dera Temple in Kyoto.
This works of art represents an attractive and interesting time of history of Japan in the years between 1604 and 1634, when Japanese merchants used large ships and ruled Southeast Asian seas.
